When bushfires swept through the Adelaide Hills in 2019, the Vinteloper vines and ninety-nine year old farmhouse were among the ruins. At Detail Studio, we felt compelled to support those impacted. Through a mutual connection, we met the passionate team at Vinteloper, and a remarkable journey of rebuilding and resilience began.
Honouring the ashen walls of the farmhouse, we envisioned a space that seamlessly blends contemporary design with its natural surroundings. From this vision, the idea of the new building rising from the remnants of the old farmhouse was born – a symbol of renewal, connection + harmony with the landscape.
Vinteloper envisioned a destination – a space that invites connection + celebration. The design embraces the farmhouse’s history, showcasing its remnants while honouring Vinteloper’s craft and life’s finest joys: wine, food, and good company.
With a refined yet simplistic material palette, the spaces are adaptable, allowing Vinteloper to curate unique experiences that inspire + delight.
