About the role.

Interior Design – Lead 

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to lead our Interior Design team with an eye for detail and strong design, development and construction knowledge.  Someone who thrives with the management of others and relates well with Clients.

You will need:

  • + 7 years demonstrated experience within the Interior Design sector through employment at a Senior level or equivalent
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit (suitable), Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), BlueBeam and knowledge in 3D presentation software (SketchUp)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with clients, consultants and internal team members to lead and manage interior design projects working independently and within a project team
  • Skillfully resolve detailing and technical issues
  • Where appropriate, manage project teams, deliverables and finances to meet profit targets and deadlines.
  • Build upon and learn from experiences, applying new knowledge to projects and maintain professional competence in documentation, writing, report preparation, and general support as this relates to the architecture and conservation practice of the office.
  • Capability to represent the company at a management level in professional industry contexts
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of your own and others time and allocated tasks, work independently and as a part of a team, providing support to the Principals and Senior Management
  • Identify opportunities for procurement of project work with direction and support by the Principals
  • Assisting Senior Management staff with for the preparation of fee proposals and tenders, as required to procure work
  • Responsible for project programming of time and resources based on approved fees and maintaining projects on program and within fee allowances
  • Responsible for small to large sized projects, supervising and assisting staff, regularly reviewing and reporting of projects budgets and programs to Principal staff

 

Architect / Documentation Guru 

We are looking for an experienced Architect with a passion for documentation and strong design, development and construction knowledge.

  • + 2 years demonstrated experience within the Architecture sector
  • Developed skills in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), competency in 3D presentation software (SketchUp and Lumion)
  • Have a developed knowledge of key regulatory and statutory requirements of Australian Standards, DDA, WHS, National Construction Code
  • Good written, verbal and graphic communication
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and conflicting requirements to satisfy Client needs and work to deadlines, with support from senior team members
  • Ability to confidently work well and to collaborate in a team environment
  • Attention to ‘detail’
  • Willingness to continue learning and developing knowledge
  • Ability to review your own work for accuracy and to successfully coordinate work of others documentation (project team, consultants, suppliers etc) with support from senior team members
  • Ability to utilise project management software (Accelo)
