Trinity College – Harris Head Big Shed

Client: Trinity College
Completed: 2024

Detail Studio’s longstanding relationship with Trinity College led to the redevelopment of one of the original buildings in the College’s 40-year history. Initially the Assembly Hall, the building was later used as a recreation space and then as a cricket practice pavilion. It has now been upgraded to the Harris Head Big Shed project, named after former Australian Test bowler and current South Australian Cricket coach Ryan Harris, along with Australian cricketer Travis Head, both alumni of the College. The former timber log classrooms have been transformed into an indoor cricket academy and multi-sport facility. With a new facade and enhanced entry, the Big Shed now serves as a versatile space for the entire Trinity community.
